Okay, it’s time to talk some serious shit.
I know how it is to sit there, watching your favorite roleplayers write with someone, and you wish you could do that too. I know how it is to spend lots of time wondering what would happen if you sent them a message, and I know it’s hard. I know you might feel like you annoy them, like you’re not worthy. Yeah. STOP THINKING THAT.
Believe me. If there’s a roleplayer you admire. TELL THEM. The writer will most likely be beyond happy to hear it, to hear that SOMEONE actually enjoys what they do, because almost every single writer sits behind their screens, nervous as hell because they think everyone hates them. They think their writing is bad since no one talks to them. They think they’re everything you think they’re not.
So please, whether you just admire them or you want to roleplay with them. TELL THEM. Chances are that it will brighten up their day. If you want to roleplay with someone, TELL THEM/ASK THEM. Sure, you might get a no for whatever reason, but it doesn’t mean that they don’t want to be your friend.
If you seriously get mad because someone doesn’t want to write with you, you’re not really welcome in my inbox that’s for sure.
Basically, tell someone if you like anything about them; the theme, the writing, the mun — anything. It makes them happy. It makes them smile.
It makes ME cry like a baby.
Because even though we’re here to have fun, there’s nothing that’s better than being complimented for something you really work hard on.
