Jiho stood there for a moment, letting it all sink in. So they were real, aye? Interesting. He wondered how she’d react to seeing his. He stepped back from the door so she would enter his apartment. “Really? Well, that’s funny…” He closed the door after she entered, moving to follow her into the kitchen. “I have wings of my own, see?” As he spoke, his black dragon wings materialized out of a shadows, and then expanded out to their full length which was several times larger than his human body.
Since the science of it doesn’t work out well, he usually shrinks them down to be proportionate to that of his body, which he does now. The wings were a nice contrast to his sister’s. Hers were white and feathery where his were black and scaly. His wings began to flap idly as he looked over her wings more closely now. “So, how did these babies come to be, then?” He knew that asking her this question, she would in turn ask him the same. He figured his story to be very much like her own- brought on by a spell.
He led her into the kitchen, his wings furling up and closing behind him as he entered the doorway. He could just as easily willed them into their shadow form and re-materialize on the other side, but he didn’t want to scare Hyuna too much. He wanted her to know he could relate totally to what she was going through. He sensed a kind of distress in her. Clearly, the wings were forced upon her; this wasn’t voluntary, like his are.
This was not what she was expected.
Not in the slightest.
But- honestly at this point, she had seen and heard so much that nothing that happened was particularly a surprise.
So she just stared. Well, they were sure different than hers. They were dark, and a be it, a little depressing looking. While as her flexed behind her, the white feathers enjoying the air between them for the split second as she blinked. “Huh- really.” Was all she could muster for the moment as she stared, ever so rudely but this was her brother. She bullied him for two hundred years, so what she should stop now. Her wings were smaller than his when spread out as they matched her height almost perfectly, but those would be an angel. They were supposed to be perfect beings? In a sort.
“I’m never surprised by anything anymore…honestly. But though! I need to ask, why you didn’t tell me before! I’m so offended! All this time and I never knew?” She huffed, as she crossed her arms at him with a scrunch of distaste in her nose. “That’s not nice!” With a puff of her cheeks, she approached him and wanted to reach out and touch them. Wondering how they feel compared to hers, but his question made her pause. “A spell. I didn’t want this. I mean? It’s kinda cool..I can fly..but I’m an idol? This makes my life very very hard. Most people on the streets think I’m in costume, but why would I be in costume on stage!"
She went off, forgetting all about trying to touch his wings as hers folded in on themselves and relaxed against her back, her shoulders also relaxed. The distress was fading in her, as she was in the presence of one of the only people who has been with her through everything and someone who clearly understood exactly what was going on with her. ”…Question- What about yours?“ There was a tilt of her head as she inclined her chin to the wings of his. "Are they like mine- or did mom bone a dragon?” So she had a slight sense of humor about the entire situation. It made it that much easier to deal with.
